According to comments from the photographer, it was "several hours."

The time lapse was 1sec, but you can see there are gaps in it.

Pretty good example of an isolated steady state thunderstorm. It looked like the rain began falling outside the updraft which allowed it to keep going for several hours.

Very cool video - I agree it's a great example of the stages of a thunderstorm.
