Foreflight - Radar not available

Why is radar coverage not available on ocean routes, Canada, Greenland and most of Asia on foreflight?

For the ocean routes that seems like a no brainer. There's no ground to put the radar stations. The rest of it may be because there is no available radar data to present.

I was watching the recent launch of the weather satellite and it mentioned that many countries do not provide free weather so I thought that had something to do with it?

Thats another thing that I've seen people confuse as well. Satellite vs radar weather imaging.
