Final Approach
iPad2 running (for the moment) FF 5.2.
This has happened several times now... most recently this weekend. I have FF set to bring up the taxi diagram after landing. Only it doesn't happen, it only brings up the plates tab. Saturday I had a folder containing the desired taxi diagram already loaded in the plates area, but it STILL would not display the diagram -- or, in fact, ANY approach plate. It's characteristic that when in this condition, clicking on a plate (or diagram in the plates area) shows the plate briefly, unfocused, then the display snaps back to the plates folder overview.
Force quitting FF and restarting fixes the problem. But it happens so frequently that actually, I've yet to see a taxi diagram come up after landing.
(And Saturday, I had trouble getting FF to force quit. The usual method of double clicking the Home key didn't work. I don't recall which of many shenanigans finally worked -- I had the distinct impression that iOS was malfunctioning.)
