Pattern Altitude
Well, the clouds parted long enough this weekend for me to squeeze in my first two solo cross-country flights. On Saturday, I was able to go from SGR - CLL, do a touch and go, then come back. Then on Sunday, I went up to Brenham for lunch and came back, diverting around a couple of rain spouts on the way. All in all, a fun 2.9 hrs of solo x-c flying!
I hope to do my long solo x-c tomorrow night. I have to confer with my CFI, but I hope to do SGR - CLL - CXO - DWH - IWS - SGR. No promises, though.
