I noticed a previous message of someone asking how they could get their sea plane rating. We have just opened San Diego sport flyers on Gillespie Field in San Diego, Ca. We are getting a light sport sea plane for training in the Salton Sea.

Sure, why not? An LSA is still an airplane. Since you have Comm-ASEL you don't need a complex airplane for the Comm-ASES training or checkride.
