Just like today. Only the flight is 4 hours, but checking 2 hours prior to scheduled take off, the delays, and then having to wait for luggage. The door to door time is identical.

Awesome... love all the Condor footage. I've heard the Condor was a bit piggish, at least compared to competitors like the 247 and of course the DC-2 and -3 (which blew it out of the sky), but it must have been a grand adventure to go on a trip like that in a big ol' twin biplane.

I love the shot of that very crude panel, with a huge Cb dead ahead...

A bit unfair how they represent Texas there, eh? A sheepherder with no teeth, holding that lamb just a little too closely...
