FltPlan Go off airport destinations

There are times when I would like to use a point on the map as a destination however I have not been able to convince FltPlan Go that the "waypoint" I have specified is, in fact, a destination. Does anyone know how to do this?

That's because if it accepts the waypoint as destination and you try to land there and crash, FltPlan Go will be found at fault for luring you into the crash and get sued. Anyway, I'm sure someone will come along soon with an answer to your question.

The problem is not so much that I can't define a waypoint as a destination, it's that the software won't let me save the route. That seems nonintuitive, given that, especially for single engine light aircraft (and helicopters), off-airport destinations are not uncommon.
