I want to send a notification to my friends of my new email address.
I can't use ATT/SBCs/Yahoo's automatic wizmo because it doesn't offer the option for my old ISP domain.
I can harvest all the addresses at once and send them a notification but that includes hundreds that dont really need it, including spammers.
I'd like to send it to only those who Ive corresponded with in the last month or two... how do I separate those ones out??
Thanks

Gee Dave, that can't be more than one or two emails. How hard can it be?

You'll want to export the email addresses to a comma seperated file, read that in Excel, delete the ones you don't want and then save the list. Copy and paste into the BCC: window in your email client and send the notification.

You might want to send to 10 at a time or less to avoid your message getting flagged at spam.

Using the BCC keeps your friends from seeing the other's email addresses.

Doesn't AT&T Yahoo have a way to do just that - notify your friends? It should offer to import your email addresses and then you can have at it.

Hey I paid those two a lot of money to be my friends, so just keep quiet there!!

There was no indication of how many addresses it would allow so I kept pumping them in til I was done and now it won't allow the msg to be sent.
So I saved the message with addresses in the drafts folder.

Problem is I can't manipulate the long list of addresses to copy and send out 10 at a time. It won't allow a Ctrl C or even any way to highlight them.

What a pain to go through them all again, I was hoping for some easy way to chop them up into smaller groups.

Anyone want to see it??
