UPDATE:

M3 did arrive in the mail just in time for the weather to go stinko and conflict with long arranged travel plans. Go figure....

But.... I finally did get to SOLO on 10/21. Thought I did awful, but nothing got scratched. Training resuming with Tower Work/Tower Solo next.

Cool. Next highlight up, solo cross country. Many find that even more memorable than first solo.

My solo was awful too. I wasn't ready for how differently a tiny C152 would fly with one small guy rather than two small guys. For me, at the time, the weight difference made a big difference. And I was so jacked on adrenaline, I parked it all wonky. After that, everything went well. Loved my solo XC.
