woodstock
Final Approach
Hi
Does anyone have a recommendation for a non-industrial looking filing cabinet - or something that could double as one?
I don't want bare ugly metal, and I don't want ugly "looks like wood", either. One that is actually wood (but not 500 pounds) would be acceptable but not necessary.
I'm thinking more along the lines of one that is either a foot-ish tall, or two feet-ish tall (IE one compartment or two, in height) and at max, only one legal-sized folder wide or even letter sized folder wide.
Practically a storage cube, in other words.
I already have two small storage cubes I bought at Z Gallerie a few years ago, they are funky, fit right into the decor of my office and work great. In case you are wondering - the current cubes are deep red alligator-embossed looks-like-leather cubes - think small steamer trunk, really. I have an oriental rug with lots of reds, a black desk and red desk accessories, several Africa and New Zealand prints on the walls and dark-slate-grey curtains... so they all pull together.
However, these cubes are filling up and to be honest I'd just as soon empty them and use them for my camera odds and ends (all the lenses, random accessories, and so on.)
Thanks.
