The smoking crater
Mt. St. Helens? Well I remember that day. We live in southeast Washington State.

I took this picture. Focusing on the cloud kept me from realizing how high up in the air I was. In fact, taking pictures is a good occupation for a fearful passenger.

I took this flood picture in 2010 of the Missouri River. It has been on Fox News, Goodmorning America, Weather Channel, and published several times in national magazines.

This is north of Omaha looking south. That is I29 underwater. I landed on the dry closed section a couple of times... allegedly.

A few years ago a tornado passed a mile south of my house. In the morning I went up in my C150 with a friend in his C172 to take some pictures.

El Paso doesn't get snow often. My son snapped these of the Franklin mountain and Transmountain Road (he thought it looked like a multi-tier chocolate cake).

Nice, fully agree. Probably the most peaceful flight I've had in a long long time was just flying around back home with my old man in his Bo'. That all being said, it is refreshing to see that the USAF, with all their money, has not found a better way to route the stupid JHMCS cord. That thing is the bane of my existence....that or forgetting to turn it off before unplugging it (youch!%#!!)
