That's sex on wheels right there.
You must not know what a GTR is- they're very nice cars. Currently holds the fastest production car lap time at nurburgring.
It's ok, but lap times at Nuremberg Ring don't mean much unless you are planning to use the car primarily for racing Production Stock class on well groomed tracks. Like any machine, they are all a series of compromises to meet a purpose. Driving on the street every day in traffic is a world apart from driving on the track on weekends. I was driving the Skyline GTR in Aus for a while, and it was wearing.
Not really that outstanding. I'm very diversified, very conservative with investments. Since 2006 have lost around 400 grand but still quite solvent. Lots of cat stock which is not doing great but will bounce back if we can ever start to repair road, bridges, etc. incidentally a lot of people helped me along the way. Air Force, GI bill, sold a lot of stuff to contractors doing business with the government. Etc. house, cars. Paid for, owe no one.

You don't drive a car like that on the road for fun, you drive it because as Borat would say it has.....well.....he can say it better than I can.
"vigine hang like the sleeve of a wizard" Yeah, problem with cars like the GTR for that purpose though is the ride is too rough, and the seats are individualized. If I had a $100k for a ***** magnet car, I'd get a '58 Cadillac hearse and totally refurb it and put an LS-9 engine built up to 750hp in it and a tempurfoam mattress in the back. You can have that with enough left over to buy a plane.
Coming to this forum I would have thought the answer to this question was a forgone conclusion. BUY AN AIRPLANE! That you have opinions contrary to this one on this forum is shocking!

hmmmmm... are you serious? I essentially turned $100 into $1,000,000 in 4 years. How could you say "not outstanding"?

You meant to say $10, right?
I think its fair to call that lucky more then anything else. A 100$ investment is not all that serious in terms of outstanding investments. Sure, your reward was handsome but lets not take away from the fact that you were 16 years old and probably wanted them for porn or WOW......
You can sit there and act like you were investing intelligently but thats going to be false. You got lucky kid, admit it. Stop trying to play grown up investor. I cant keep a straight face when your talking about "bitcoins"..... I bet you have a lot of short terms friends right now.
And buy whatever toy your going to buy for whatever secret reason you have.
You come off as sounding bitter towards my so called 'luck'.
Not bitter, I'd be genuinely happy for you if I felt like you were humble and appreciative of it.
Your thread topics and responses have me thinking your some entitled, spoiled brat. Hopefully I'm wrong but then again 95% of the pilots I've met have the "I'm better then you" syndrome and 100% of the GRT owners have it even worse. And your trying to own both....
Wow....$100k!!!
Think of the hookers you can get with that.
Heh. Some of us own and know better. (It's not for everyone. It's not even all that great for some owners. Heh.)
