Hey guys, sorry for the back-to-back post. I am installing new lower gear fairing that cover the brakes, I was wondering what paperwork I need to fill out to make a log entry

As mentioned, not enough info to give an answer: aircraft model, OEM replacement or PMA part, mechanic or pilot, and so on.

Are you replacing an existing fairing, or is this a “new” installation?

Is this on 1 wheel or all 3 wheels?

If it is only a single wheel replacement, how much will the weight difference be between the new/old fairings?

Will it require more work like locating/riveting than just removing/installing the wheel per the MM?

Replacement of the old ones. On both mains. And should be just some screws. No rivets

My suggestion is to heat them up before you fit them for the first time. Then paint them after you have them fitting to your wheel pant and gear.

Knots 2u parts are usually FAA/PMA and direct replacement. Often same weight as OEM.. so logbook entry is all you need. Are you planning to have A&P install?

Provided they are PMA replacements and the weight difference is within 1lb should be able to do this under prevent mx and your ticket. However, the only person who might object would be the mechanic who signs your annual. Perhaps check with him first for any issues once you get your mx references, log entry draft, and replacement process figured out.

As to the log entry, review Part 43.9 and draft out what you think needs to be written per that section, then post it here for any fine-tuning.
