Anyone know if this is the first "1st flight" of a new aircraft in the Fort Worth GD/Lockheed plant since the F-16's first flight in the 1970's? I remember that one ended in the gear up landing at the time. I'm having a friendly argument with a friend of mine over it (there's a dinner on the line). He says there have been others, I say no. I can't recall any other aircraft developed by General Dynamics or Lockheed that would have had final assembly in that plant. I thought most of them were first flown at Edwards or other similar test facilities.
