Watching Extreme Home Makeover on ABC. They are fixing up the house of a family that is flying supplies to Haiti in their Cessna 337. They just said that they will be doing a 'makeover' on the plane as well.

Watching as well. I'm interested to see how this 737 fits in the house!

Not bad 'makeover' on the plane - new paint and a nice glass panel and extended fuel tanks. Sounds like they will put it to good use, too.

I know I'm nuts, but I've always liked the Mixmaster. Very tempting, from a price perspective, but....

They (ABC) dropped some serious coin in that Mixmaster. Nice new panel. Drool.

Paint job didn't look bad, either. How'd they do all that in a week?

Arriving in the C-47 was a nice touch, too.

The airplane makeover cost as much as a small house itself!

I highly doubt that was a one-week job - just getting the paint done would take longer than 1 week.

The C-47 was cool. And Ty made a nice comment about why they used it - something like "This plane was used to fly aid to XYZ, so it's only fitting that we use it to help this family that is flying aid to Haiti."

I thought I saw them applying something to the original paint like vinyl or something. So they didn't *repaint* it.
