EXTRA Aircraft

Anyone know of any good articles to read about EXTRA Aircraft's history? I know they've been around for some 40 years and heard they went bankrupt at one point (or two), but can't find anything on the recovery and restructuring. Can't find any factory tour videos or anything like that. Do they exist? Do EXTRA's have a great reputation? Is the resale market for them strong or weak? And is the resale market for aerobatic aircraft in general strong or weak compared to normal GA aircraft?

I believe Walter Extra is still building aircraft, but it isa specialized niche market.

A bud had his 300 about 20 years..

If you are thinking of buying assure you have a tech familiar with them.

Southeast Aero likely the best.

When we did the 1000 hr Insp we had components in 4 towns.

Really in depth.

Still the only aircraft I took the fabric off and put the same fabric back on!
