They're also losing their Delta contract. This is unfortunate, I have a couple few friends over there that aren't very high on the seniority list...the loss of the branded flying and the Delta side could be pretty bad for them. Good luck to all the XJ guys!

And good luck to the YX guys, too, in the face of the huge pay cuts that they're being asked for.
 
It's too bad. Simply couldn't sustain these oil prices. The sad reality is that it is a great product and the city pairs are yielding good load factors. If oil had stayed around the $70-$85 mark this venture would be making money. I think we are about to lose at least 400 pilots with some guesses that we could lose as many as 800, the number is probably right in the middle.

We are going to be moving back to a 205 airplane operation that will be very similar to what we were doing 2 1/2 years ago. All flying will be done for COEX with the exception of about 30 airplanes doing group/corporate charter. Probably 190 planes for CAL by the end of 2010.
