Exponential Engine

Anyone notice the copyright date on the webpage is 2003?
If we haven’t heard anything in 16 years, I wouldn’t hold out hope.

I know it's an old thread, but I found it via Google search and, assuming others do as well, I thought it appropriate to update it.
A patent for the Exponential Engine was published in Nov 2016 and can be seen by searching "US 2017/0328277" on freepatentsonline.com
It appears to be a classic radial in which the crankshaft has been replaced by a cam.
I've seen pictures of an engine in a lab, but no video of it running.

Here’s a pic from there http://www.freepatentsonline.com/20170328277.pdf
6 cylinder, an even number which is unusual for a Radial. The ‘crank cam’ has two profiles, one gently curving, the other steep. It looks like the firing order is in pairs, opposite cylinders firing simultaneously. If you look at it as the Northeast cylinder is number 1 and go clockwise, the firing order would be, 1 & 4, 2 & 5, 3 & 6.

...and brought to you by the son of the guy who invented the 100mpg bolt-on carburetor spiked by the oil industry in 1975.
