Expired Sectionals

For DBVZ: That statement on the Jepp enroute charts applies to IFR use only. There's a lot of stuff from the sectional that ain't on there, starting with terrain and obstacle data.
Even for IFR a Sectional is a good idea. Stuff happens.

You betcha! It's great for planning circle-to-land approaches, as well as departures in IMC from airports with no terminal procedures, not to mention evaluating options if you want to launch VFR and pick up IFR airborne from a nontowered airport.
