Several weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting this pilot and his entourage. My chief pilot flew him on a several hour local flight to provide dual instruction (flight review).
Claude, the pilote, built this plane (photo #1) as part of a PR stunt. He built several others from the blueprints which he owned after the PR campaign. Also shown is his latest steed which he also built and flies around Europe. He was fascinating to talk to.
