Just go in open minded and enjoy the flight for what it is. You will feel overwhelmed. Prior to going though, write down some questions you should ask after the flight when you can think more clearly. How many planes, who does the maintenance (on-site or contracted out), price per hour, price per hour with CFI. Try to meet one or two other CFI. Remember you aren’t married to the CFI who did the flight, you always have the opportunity to switch, how many CFI on staff. If it’s one or two, could be a problem. How many active students/renters. Too many in relation to available planes, could be an issue.
