Of course, it depends on the state law. I said that in the initial statement.
You can concealed carry in a bar or other establishment serving alcohol in NC, but you can't drink while doing so. Soccer mom better have iced tea.
If memory serves, that's a recent change. Well by "recent" these days it could be up to 20 years, I'm old now so the concept of recent gets longer.
Anyhow I think they also changed that you can't carry into banks at the same time, because NC was getting a lot of bank robberies and somebody finally figured out that allowing conceal carry would reduce the number of bank robberies.
So it used to be illegal in NC to carry into restaurants serving alcohol or banks, but it is not anymore. Again that's my recollection I could be wrong, not gonna google right now, and I don't live in NC anymore so I don't have to keep up with it.
