Dumb motorist thread

Kinda like the schmuck in my unit who bought a pristine Fairlady Z31. And I mean gorgeously pristine. He taught himself how to drive stick in it....aaaand shortly decided to race it down a very technical mountain road.

I know that "mountain" road. Hedo point SE towards the White Beach naval base. I had a Carina GT as my last car which was fairly new and not much rust. That thing was fast, but then again when the speed limit is what, 80 kilometers per hour on the "freeway" they have there? I spent five years there. When I got back to the states and they picked me up from the airport and was driving 70 on the interstate, I thought I was going to die. I was elected to drive one of the cars to a funeral the next day...guess which side of the road I started out on.
