Just found out tonight. I only met him once, during the beginning of the pandemic, pre-vaccine. I was a complete stranger, found him online. I drove halfway across the state to renew my medical. Everyone was concerned about the virus, but he was kind and friendly. We talked about me flying out for my next renewal.
Never had the chance to thank him for being around when so many other places were closed. Passed away Sept 17, 2022 at 66.
