First post. I note many posts from a certain "Flyersfan31". Apparently this guy married some trusting soul who lets him fly his Matix all over God's Creation while she burns the midnight oil. What a scam. Meanwhile I have to work 60 hours a week and can only afford a 1/3 share in a 68 Cherokee 140/160 that does not even have a Garmin 430. Do you know what steams me the most? He is my younger brother! Life is not fair.

Andrew, sorry that you are moving to NJ. I only lasted 9 months in that he-double hockey stick hole state. Might as well take a copy of "War and Peace" when you go to the DMV for the license. At least I can take a leisurely flight (the only kind I know) now and then to visit. Thanks for helping to justify my airplane purchase.

That's a hey no kiddin..... It's only going to get worse. As the Head of the AANA said to the press, "there will be plenty of room for nurse practitioners....in the near future".

I don't hate those guys, I envy them.

) During high school in Maine(nearly 50 years ago) we had a teacher(nice guy) who was a pilot. He used to take members of the Key Club(Kiwanis sponsored) flying on weekends. One year for Christmas his wife gave him a twin engined plane. During his monitoring of a study hall there might have been some "activity." He was known to approach the perpetrators and calmly advise, "Listen, you bozos; I hope you realize the only reason I'm teaching school is to pay my wife's taxes. Now knock it off!"

The referenced wife's grandfather was one of the original investors who had faith in the ideas of a man named George Eastman. During the decades, every time Eastman Kodak's stock increased -- and PAID -- "wife's" mother and mother's maiden sister scored in a big way. Upon their demise everything spiraled down to teacher's wife -- hugely, over the years. But they were right down-to-earth people.

Hey, at least you still own a Piper. :)

Ha so your the older brother we keep hearing about at Wings hangar flying events. Welcome to POA. At least you don't have to hear from Andrew that hmmm should I get a fun biplane within a month of getting the Matrix:mad3::D

Andrew's a fun guy and we will miss him down here in Philly when he moves to the Toxic State. Actually he and I were bouncing ideas on how he could stay here, Like get his rotary wing certiificate and fly Christina to work in an R-22. Crazy thing is that I think he seriously considered it.

Christina being a very sharp cookie and well Andrew being Andrew my prediction for him is the same as Chris Lee he'll be back in Philly in two years.

Wow, till you said he was your brother I was pretty fumed that someone would post that! He is one of the nicest guys I have met, and while he may have money, he doesn't flaugnt it. He let my girls into his plane for their Christmas play video without question, and he flies to pick up people who needed to mow their lawn before attending Wings FlyBQ,.... God, I wish I had not mowed that week! LOL.

While I only know him a little, Andrew is a cool guy. So when we having a Wings Night again to see him off?

He is my younger brother! Life is not fair.

Welcome to POA!!! We won't hold it against you that Andrew is your brother! :wink2: Kidding of course......I met Andrew when I started my flying lessons, he's been a wealth of knowledge and one hell of a good guy.

Oh yeah, welcome to the world of ownership!

Rob, I thought the same thing at first. :)

Of course, Andrew being kind enough to retrieve Missa didn't teach her a good lesson since she got to fly in the Matrix instead of the Comanche by mowing her lawn.

Now I'm starting to re-think the lawn guy I have this year.....

Nah I'll keep him.:blowingkisses:

Two people work together for 4 years in the same office. One starts a year earlier than the other for a total of 5 and 4 years respectively. Same integrity, same honesty, same goals. Both start out with about the same amount of $$ in their bank accounts on work day #1. At the end of the 4 years together, one retires EXTREMELY comfortably and PAYS CASH without even touching the primary bank account for double digit acres on a custom house in Aspen Colorado. The other...well, I did eat yesterday. It was just a sack lunch but it was a reasonably decent sack lunch. (true story)

If they're happy doing what they're doing, that's good enough. There's no point in making yourself crazy over it.

Life is not fair.

Life is about free will. You are what you make of yourself. Nothing more, nothing less.
