Flew through that crap today, stayed a bit lower - wasn't bad in a CE-550B, moderate with some light chop in between
I betcha there's gonna be a bargain priced Excel on the market soon. Or a vacant 56X driver position

Heard this while enroute about a month ago:

OTM UUA /OV OTM/TM 0055/FL340/TP A320/TB SEV 340-350/RM COULD NOT MAINTAIN ALTITUDE +/- 500FT

Got a good laugh from the ZKC controller when I told them It was nice and smooth at FL090 and he'd be more than welcome to join me down there.

Just the opposite coming down to FL from Valpo, IN couple of months back - freshly bought aircraft, no RVSM yet, cruising at FL430 and hearing all the moaning and groaning below - air was pretty rough at 410 and below, smooth as silk at 430
