That works for both parties. I can say that as a conservative, because they both suck. The traditional conservatives want to shut Trump up because he's basically telling it like it is. He's not a politician. All politicians want is to say whatever to get elected, then pander to the people or organizations that give them the most money to stay elected. They're all (Repubs AND Dems) the same. All bought and paid for career politicians. Until we get term limits and get rid of lobbying, none of these guys will ever care a dime about you or me. Now if you give them a 10k contribution (bribe), then they'll perk up. That's the sad fact of American politics. Like Lee Ermy said in FMJ...they are all "equally worthless." They only serve their own interests.
Onto substance. Unlike those I loath above, Trump is not beholding to anyone other than his own interests and opinions. He's already as rich as he'll ever need to be, so he's not out there Jonesing for $$ selling his congressional or senatorial votes. As far as immigration is concerned, I am for a fair system that would allow legal immigration to the US, but every illegal alien (or "undocumented immigrant" if you prefer) is currently here illegally. The very fact of their presence is a criminal act. No...they're not all rapists and murderers, but there are numerous lesser crimes, drug crime, petty or felonious larceny, right down to assaults and drunk-driving, and no one is willing to stand up and address it. Oh...let's not forget the convicted felon, 5 time deportee that shot and killed a woman in SF last week. We need to round up every identified illegal / undocumented whatever you want to call them and deport them from the US. We need to economically sanction Mexico for not controlling their side of the border. We pay for an entire federal department to control this, only to have them do nothing. We have a law requiring state and local LEOs to assist, but they don't. We have "Sanctuary" cities and towns that ignore the issue and the law, and spend billions on taxpayer-funded assistance for these people, and require other entities, such as hospitals) to lose money in the process of helping these people stay here illegally. The career politicians don't want people, and most especially someone like Trump, stirring the pot because it will affect the Hispanic vote. More self-interest and pandering. Someone needs to just address the truth, stop talking and start doing something about the problem. There's my 2+ cents. Safe and happy Flying!
