This. But yes, it would be TAA.Since it has retractable gear, a controllable prop and flaps, it’s a complex airplane. Making it TAA won’t add any advantage for meeting commercial pilot requirements
It was more to allow all those Cirru$ and Diamond 40 pilots to get their commercial rating.to say nothing it will still be a $ detraction over fixed gear TAA. The point of TAA was to mercy kill the piston retract trainer, and it succeeded.
G5s display IAS and GS. Also TAS with a GAD29 and air temp probe.Airspeed has to be part of the display, not groundspeed.....
The second display (MFD) must have a moving map display, so the second G5 doesn't cut it. I think even a 430 would though. Also need a 2 axis AP.How I read it is 2 G5s and an autopilot meets the requirement. Although my club airplanes have a 650 as well.
An electronic Primary Flight Display (PFD) that includes, at a minimum, an airspeed indicator, turn coordinator, attitude indicator, heading indicator, altimeter, and vertical speed indicator.
An electronic Multifunction Display (MFD) that includes, at a minimum, a moving map using Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation with the aircraft position displayed.
A two axis autopilot integrated with the navigation and heading guidance system.
The display elements described in paragraphs (j)(1) and (2) of this section must be continuously visible.
