My piper arrow is config'd with the following. Does it qualify as a Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA)?

2 Garmin G5s
GNS530W & GNS430W
JPI830 engine monitor
GFC 500 2 axis autopilot

Since it has retractable gear, a controllable prop and flaps, it’s a complex airplane. Making it TAA won’t add any advantage for meeting commercial pilot requirements
This. But yes, it would be TAA.

How I read it is 2 G5s and an autopilot meets the requirement. Although my club airplanes have a 650 as well.

Airspeed has to be part of the display, not groundspeed.....
G5s display IAS and GS. Also TAS with a GAD29 and air temp probe.

The second display (MFD) must have a moving map display, so the second G5 doesn't cut it. I think even a 430 would though. Also need a 2 axis AP.

An electronic Primary Flight Display (PFD) that includes, at a minimum, an airspeed indicator, turn coordinator, attitude indicator, heading indicator, altimeter, and vertical speed indicator.
An electronic Multifunction Display (MFD) that includes, at a minimum, a moving map using Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation with the aircraft position displayed.
A two axis autopilot integrated with the navigation and heading guidance system.
The display elements described in paragraphs (j)(1) and (2) of this section must be continuously visible.

If you want to get real pedantic, the moving map can be switched off on the navigators, but i think the same is true of the "real" TAA g500,1000, etc.

Also, G5s can be set up a number of different ways, so it needs to hit all the requirements. I've never seen a dual g5 installation (not that I've seen that many) that didn't, however.
