A belly landing of a fire-fighting plane is seen in another episode of Ice Pilots. On a runway in Turkey. It grinded off so much metal that it exposed hydraulic line, which failed when they grinded on the hardtop.

The first was sorta a manned missile likely to 'splode. The second, I dunno...

They lost a few pilots that cracked a tank on the Komet upon landing and the 85% hydrogen peroxide leaked on them. The Arado eventually got a tricycle gear.
