Do people contact you every time there's a plane in the local news?

No... but everytime a plane flies overhead in my hometown someone asks me if that’s my plane... (in a club with 5 total members c-182) low wing, high wing, smal twin, big twin..doesn’t matter.

I get this too...every time a plane flies some-what low over my neighborhood, I get text messages, "Flying a little low today, aren't you?" etc...funny thing is, I've NEVER flown over my own neighborhood at less than 3000 AGL...and because of the numerous lakes around my house, the low flyers are usually float planes (Yet I don't have a float plane).
