It's a tecnam Eaglet. But even more interesting is that it's listed as belong to the Texas Sheriff's association. What's it doing up in Jersey?

The Department of Justice has a program that will help local law enforcement communities acquire fixed wing aircraft to use for patrol work instead of more expensive rotorwing or high end fixed wing aircraft. TheTexas Sherriffs Association was the first to use the program, and now all the aircraft purchased through the program get registered at least initially through them. I don't know the exact reason, but it seems to be the process. One of the guys at Chesapeake Sport Pilot is involved and is a Tecnam dealer so it might have been based with them for the checkout. Several Sky Arrow 600 SLSAs and other LSAs have been used by law enforcement.
