Here in NE, TX we're still getting some TS activity but luckily we got through all the tornado warnings without seeing any real activity. Had the vault door open just in case

Nothing in Plano/Allen but two shots of HEAVY rain and some wind. About 10 seconds of small hail.

If AA took significant damage, that could be a blessing in disguise after insurance pays off. That'd totally change things for them.

I hear AA is self insured. So all this damage is out of their own pocket.

I didn't have such luck. When I bought my new car a couple years ago, we had two weeks of just ice right after. Then a few months later got about $5000 worth of hail damage.

This was my greatest fear when I moved to Dallas back in 2004. On the drive out from Albuquerque, I stopped for gas outside of Amarillo and saw a car much like my (fairly new) Focus that had been absolutely devastated by hail. Turns out the owner was also from Dallas, and that damage was from a storm just a few weeks before.

Fortunately, the only significant "hail event" in my time in the metroplex came while my car was safely ensconced in the bowels of a DFW parking garage.
