determining push times?

I'm hoping to fly the Hudson corridor next month. As part of planning, I'd like to figure out whether to ask for the skyline route or just take the exclusion and not bother the controllers. To answer this, I'd need to know what the push times are like for EWR and LGA. Is there a way to find this information short of calling them on the phone?

The controllers handling the skyline route are generally not the same ones handling local control at EWR and LGA (except for perhaps the midnight shift). I've never had traffic volume affect getting the route, although runway usage at LGA may effect altitudes and special clearances (like detouring over Central Park). Lastly, look out for Yankees and UN TFRs.
