Low ceilings here, cancelled a few lessons yesterday. Looks the same today, about to cx a couple today too.
My daughter and son-in-law's wedding gift(married on Jan 5th)..... A scenic flight of NYC! 1/17/13
This was a historic flight for me because I had the pleasure of giving them their first flight as newlyweds. And although she's flown many times, this flight was reminiscent of her first flight. I gave her and my younger daughter their first flight (the same scenic route) right after I got my PPL in 1999. She was 11 and her sister was 5.
I'll never forget, she was in the front taking pictures and my younger daughter was in the back. I glanced over my shoulder to see how she was doing back there and she was knocked out
Now the 11 year old is 24 and married, and although her husband sat up front with me, she took some amazing shots from the back seat........enjoy!
Don't know why she didn't get any of Coney Island
Hudson River looking south, just south of the Tappan Zee Bridge
good to see the Enterprise without the bubble canopy blocking the view! I was on that Concord before!

Sweet!!!!
Front row seats for the nascar race flyover practice runs. This is out the sunroof of my car.
That is indeed the CAF Helldiver. I believe it is the only airworthy one in existence. Now I have been having trouble identifying this aircraft.. I thought they said it was a CAF plane. It has the same livery as the SB2C HellDiver from the texas wing but doesn't look quite like it compared to the pictures online. Looks like an SBD-5 Dauntless but doesn't look like the one they have listed for the Dixie Wing. Any warbird pros out there?
Downtown Venice FL. Headed back to Atlanta tomorrow.
Looks nice. Did you ever get a local ride?
