Anybody know of an aircraft airbrush paint shop in the US? I have a Malibu that was involved in a nose gear collapse. The new cowling will need to be painted to match the flames on the rest of the airframe. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. The original paint job was performed in Turkey. Goose.JPG

That's exactly what I was thinking too SoonerAviator. I spoke to the Repair Facility about bringing in an airbrush artist to utilize their facility but was hoping for a one stop shop. We'll see what shakes out.

The aircraft was painted in Turkey.
Well then that's going to be a long flight to the shop...

There used to be a guy at FTG but he went to prison. He really ****ed the EPA off.

John Stahr at stahrdesign.com does terrific work and is a very nice person.

Find some rod and custom guys, get the same aviation paint

I dunno but what are you guys drinking in that pic?

Tampa Bay Brewing Company's Reef Donkey APA in our hands and Quat on the ground. The beer literally starting freezing on the ramp. As we were drinking it ice chunk/slushy started forming.

I thought the rule was 8 feet between bottle and throttle.

ok a good car wrap person could take a photo and reproduce it on printer and wrap the cowl

While you are at it, you may want to address your N number. The contrast between the X and the graphics background is probably insufficient and thus contrary to 45.21. At least that is how it appears in the picture. In real life it might look better.

Just an opinion.
