CUBA!! any one been there yet?

I want to fly to Cuba at the end of the year after hurricane season, various reports some good and some bad.. any recent changes is GA flying over, do you have to go IFR?

I saw a post sometime back, but I forgot some details...

Yes I flew to Cuba in my Mooney in November 2015. Went with a group organized by Caribbean Flying Adventures. We had a super time. I'm not sure if the IFR requirement has been dropped or not. However my landing there ended up as an ILS to minimums. You never know. Do this trip. Sounds like Trump may start limitations again.

I flew to Cuba with the Baja Pilots in 2016. Had a good time but landing fees were substantially higher than a stop at Signature. Lots of tourists during the winter need to get reservations early. Need to be current IFR and have approach plates with you.
