CS Prop on 182 misting light amount of oil on hood and windshield

Remove the prop and have a prop repair facility re-seal it, do not have it overhauled, just a reseal.

The prop ended up needing all new seals. I think they got me all in for around $2000 on that one.

Yeah, usually by the time one seal rots away to the point of leaking, they are all in the same basic condition, so not surprising. Hey, at least they didn't just condemn your prop on you, there was that potential. $2k is a bit high, but not as bad as a new prop.
