Crazy BMW ad

It is less than clear why the driver bothered wearing a crash helmet.

Maybe his employer required it for insurance reasons. Or maybe the potential of having an open casket.

But I see plenty of safety margin in this...not as dangerous as it looks. But now way do I have the skill to pull it off.

Except for psychologically. Walking across a three foot wide plank on the ground is easy-peasy. Lift that plank up 100 feet and all of a sudden your hands start to sweat. For instance.
 
One wrong move and he'll be doing an Overhead Break right into traffic! :devil:
 
With the right car, practice on a skidpad, and an understanding of the friction circle, oversteer like that is easily controlled and sustained.

Yep, I couldn't do that but I haven't had a RWD car for a while so...

You're right. He would have just flipped the car onto its side or top on the roof of the building. doubt he would have just flown off the pad and augered into the pavement. And no, I couldn't do it either. What a view though. :D
