Contract Question (Lawyers?)

Yeah, but then "he" bought it for "them". Not quite the same (to some eyes) as buying it together. Just sayin...

Yeah, women tend to be big on the "we" thing, in my experience. It's best not to fight it. Really.

It's important to those two lovebirds, that's good enough for me.

All I'll say is this: You ever try to establish credit as a low 20 year old with 0 positive credit history (and a few negative credit items that are resolved, but still on the report)?

You take what you can get.

BTDT - not easy, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Glad that I was finally able to claw my way out of those depths and actually have a pretty decent credit score now. I completely understand where you're coming from.

Why would anyone care if their spouse had good credit anyway? It just hit me. Mrs. Steingar probably has horrid credit, I pay for everything and if its a joint venture she pays me back. If I get hit by falling space debris she has sufficient assets to not need any credit.

Some of my mom's friends have lost their husbands and never had established credit on their own. It can be a real problem, and it's doubly bad having to deal with stuff like that while mourning the loss of a spouse.

*Bump*

Nick, I thought you would be interested in this article regarding car dealership (mal)practice with the added note that the Feds have decided to look the other way for reasons only they understand....

Looks like you've been Yo-Yo-ed

Edit: Thanks bugmenot.

Sounds like a similar thing to a yoyo, but its a little different. They offered a lower interest rate...
