just got word from Max Moseby that he passed the written for his Inspection Authorization, congrats!!!

Woohoo! Good job!

Thanks. As a lot of you might already know from some of my postings, that I left the aviation back in the late seventies to pursue a career in law enforcement. I retired from that a couple of years ago and started back as an A&P part time, just so that I would have a reason to hang around the airport. My goal was to at least make enough money of offset the amount that I was spending there. I was eligible to take the IA after September 2nd, so a couple of months ago I thought that I better study up for it and give it a try. A couple weeks ago I interviewed with the FAA to get my recommendation. Yesterday morning I passed the written, ran over to the FSDO, and they issued my IA.

That's great! Congratulations, Max!

Awesome! Congrats!! So PoA'ers get discounts on annuals, right? :D I'm sure that would go over great with Beaver. ;)

To put this in perspective, combine your PPL written and the instrument written and multiply by 3 for the difficulty of the A&P-IA written. plus the grilling by FSDO.

Way To Go,, now you can make some bucks..what will you charge for an annual? 337 sign off?
