I'd like to commission someone to create a simulation of N55ZC for MSFS or (preferably) X-Plane (since it runs on the Mac, too). I'd like it to be as accurate as possible (else what's the point?) Suggestions?

I'd do it, but the whole accuracy thing could be an issue ;)

There are existing simulations of similar aircraft (such as the Zenith 601XL), and it's relatively easy to change the paint jobs. I'm kind of surprised the AMD Zodiac isn't out there yet. I'd just give it some time...the sim community is always looking to model new aircraft.

As for accuracy, most of the controls for performance, etc. are in text files and easily tweaked.

If you're REALLY gung-ho about it, you can buy Abacus' Flight Simulator Design Studio:

...and build your own. I did it with the Fly Baby a few years back...

You'd actually have it a lot easier, not having to model engine cylinders, cables, turnbuckles, etc.

I have FSDS. I can build good looking models they just don't fly well (or at all in most cases).
