Is white fabric easiest to repair and match to the correct color? I've heard that ideally, when an airplane is manufactured or recovered, you should attempt to attain a few yards of extra treated fabric painted in the appropriate colors for repairs.
Airports up here are predominately gravel and some holes in the fabric are almost inevitable, even if you stick to established strips.
