Change user name?

When I signed up I was under the impression that my Display Name would be the only name displayed. Nope. My real name is displayed. How can I edit this? Thanks.

A moderator/admin has to make the change. I had the same question when I joined not too long ago. I'm sure one will be by shortly. Otherwise you can PM them directly.

What’s the logic behind your name being really displayed, in big letters right there next to your avatar, but your ‘display’ name is in little letters way down yonder at the bottom?

I think this is a holdover from the old forum software where the display name was more prominent even though both were displayed. Not sure about the logic.
