CFI headwind mins

But whatever your limit is, set it within the comfort of your home or office away from the airport and stick with it. So when that time comes, you don’t have to think about it and rationalize yourself into an accident.
What personal minimums is all about.

In my Cherokee, I don't really have a limit on headwinds for takeoff or landing as long as it's sustained. Taxing a low wing aircraft in strong winds isn't too bad, compared to a Cessna. I think the highest I took off or landed in was 35kt. If it's much more than that, it usually is accompanied by weather I wouldn't want to be flying in anyways. What I do pay attention to though is gusts. If the gust factor is above 10 e.g. 30G41, I will need a damn good reason to takeoff and if it's 15 or above, e.g. 30G45 no reason other than being chased by zombies will get me off the ground.
