Cessna Vs. Piper

Hah, I tried to make a funny and quoted Spike who posted two or three posts from the beginning with "Beechcraft." I thought it was funny, but it fell pretty flat.

As for the topic, I don't really care. As long as the plane is mechanically sound, I don't have much of a preference.

R U SRYUS?? Beech PWNS evry1else!!! ZOMG!!!

I've flown both enough to realize there isn't much difference except for visibility. With low wings you can't see the ground very well so looking for airports is harder. With high wings you have a great view of the ground but looking for traffic is harder. Now if they made them out of Lucite (or transparent aluminum) everyone would be happy.

Cessna builds airplanes the way god intended them to be built..........
Have you ever seen a low winged bird?????/:wink2:

Come on -- you know you want the MU-2...

Saw one on the ramp the other day. It really is an amazing design for its mission.

Mmm... MU-2... I do love those airplanes.

...alll of which works just fine until you try to flap those wings... :ihih:

A proper configuration of wings still continues to elude both Piper and Cessna - the only perfect airplane ever built is a Pitts!

Reminds me of George Orwell's "Animal Farm" : Two wings good, four wings better!
