Ceramic exhaust

Ceramic coating 6 cylinder automotive manifolds are $200 - $300 per pair in my neck of the woods (CYYZ)....that's a coating that's supposed to withstand sustained 1600 degrees and short periods of 2000 degrees.

That would actually be insufficient. It's common for these exhausts to see over 1600F for sustained periods.

On naturally aspirated engines, you shouldn't expect to see higher than 1600F, though, so it would work.

I just ended up hitting it up with a buffer, looks killer and like you said, I probably wouldn't have gotten much out of ceramics anyways, seemed like more trouble then it was worth and Id rather put that 600 bucks elsewhere
