Cataract surgery and Basic Med ?

I am a PP on basic med and have cataract surgery scheduled this summer. After the surgery, what if anything do I need to do to continue using basic med?

One pilot friend advised me to have the eye doc fill out and sign form 8500-7 and to keep that form in my logbook but I can't find any regs that say this.

ETA: does your certificate say corrective lenses required? If so, will you still need them after surgery?

Living in Denver, my dr recmmended 30 day wait, because my regular flight altitude is 10-14k msl. I was driving the next day.
