I hear you, I canceled our flight to Dallas today. I don't think getting there would have been a problem, but getting back tomorrow seemed a little sketchy. I'll admit that 14 hours in a car this weekend had me second guessing that decision.

I don't think I'm going to have my kid's Saturn transmission changed out by then. Especially since I just got the garage heaters fired up and have yet to start working on it. :) At least it's 20º warmer than yesterday morning!
 
Out here in sunny California it's been 2 weeks of fog followed by nearly a week of winds 20G30 or worse. I'm glad I put the trickle charger on the plane last weekend.

Is Murphey bringing brownies again? Sorry to miss out on burgers and brats but I have [cough] things to do today, like shovel the driveway. ;)
 
I'm settling for brats off the grill at the house. My last drive through the snow was bad enough to last for awhile. At least for today I'm not going anywhere that I don't absolutely have too...

So I was airborne for about 0.01 seconds today while sledding with the kids. Everyone was cold, including the poodle.

My poodle mix took one look out the doggie door and decided he could hold it longer. Much longer. Then the sun came out and he decided it wasn't so bad afterall.

Welcome to Colorado - as long as the sun's shining and there's not much wind, ya just don't notice how cold it really is.
