Can I ignore entire threads?

There are a few threads that just don't interest me. Is there any way to keep them from showing up when I select "New posts"?
 
Look up to the top and right just above the first post. "Thread Tools"->"Ignore Thread"

Click on "Thread Tools" to the right, above the first post in the thread, then "Ignore This Thread".
