Can Garmin gnc 420 non waas be updated?

Hi all,

Maybe this is a stupid question, but can my 420 be updated?
I tried Garmin and nothing, but they have it for 420 waas, would that work?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Only Garmin can perform the conversion from non-WAAS to WAAS. The update is essentially a complete replacement of the non-comm section of the unit.

I just want to update the cards to show thw right frequencies and terrain.

Garmin or Jeppesen both do that.

I checked Garmin, under software it states no updates available or something like that.

I will check jeppessen.
